Social Media should play a pivotal part in any businesses Online Marketing Strategy, but just how much time should a business be sending on these channels in order to get it to work for them?
It helps to have some key goals in place before even starting to use Social Media within your business, to allow you to focus your efforts and resource in the right areas. Staying focused on these key goals, whether it be increased likes or followers, traffic to the website, number of downloads, clicks on a link or forms submitted will allow you to ascertain a realistic timeframe and amount of effort required to achieve them.
It is also imperative that you as a business choose the most appropriate Social Media channels in order to work towards these goal. The chosen channels will vary depending on what you do as a business. Different Social Media channels have different attributes that may lend themselves well to your business, so make sure you weigh up the options before you start posting. This way also you will not spread yourself too thin on too many channels and achieve nothing.
